Rachel Sabath Beit-HaLachmi is the national director of recruitment and admissions at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati. She has taught at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and other pluralistic Jewish institutions. She has taught and written widely on liberal theology, gender, Israeli life, Zionism and other contemporary Jewish challenges.
